Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed being outside on the river. That hasn’t changed over the years. I don’t love kayaking because of the races or the victories, I love it, because I enjoy to train and to work on myself to become a better athlete. For me, it’s all about the process. There is no better feeling than to come home after a hard day of training and to drop into bed completely jaded, knowing that I gave my very best. I’m so happy and grateful to be able to do what I love every single day.
